There have been numerous threads that are deticated to a negative view of one player on Clutchfans before, why is this one any different? It doesn't need to be locked if people still want to talk about it.

There have always been kneejerk threads and criticisms of numerous players and coaches posted here. That does not mean I endorse it. This site is by fans for fans. I personally prefer intelligent, reasonable critique and analysis over some spastic "This guy's a joke!" post... but for some reason, with regard to Lin, it only takes one negative opinion or thread here for you to believe it speaks for the entire site. Dei's post, and all replies by everyone here, are available to be searched. Over time, you'll be able to look back at it and laugh -- or he will -- but each poster's comments are their own.
Why the f*** is it always a Lin fan that bumps the thread and then complains about it existing?! It drives me insane when the thread constantly gets bumped by Lin "fans."
Clutch, 90% of those threads are "fire coach x" threads, not quite the same. And it's disingenuous to present a long list to say "See? There were/are many similar threads. Happens all the time" when in actuality I doubt you've seen such a thread before either. I'm not saying you're biased in some way against Lin cause I don't think you are but there is a level of unwarranted venom against the kid in this forum in general as evidenced by the fact that this thread has grown to 189 pages of vitriol between idiot LOFs/trolls/LOHs/LOFHs. You can't pretend like this is a thread like any other when the ratio of trolling posts to legitimate posts is 3-to-1 if not worse. That said, I like this thread if only because it serves as a flytrap for some of the more idiotic on this forum and leads them away from legitimately interesting/informative threads. But you can't pretend like this is just another commonplace criticism thread.
May I be the first to say: "oh, snap!" We have a lot of different cultures here so maybe not everyone knows that "Player X is a Joke!" is not necessarily an insult. Fundamentally it means "Player X is performing much lower than expectations". You can argue about how well the player is performing, about whose fault that is, about how fair the expectations were originally, about whether things will change in the future. But you don't need to defend Player X's honor because the comment is not a personal slight. Or more simply, chill.
You haven't been here long enough. It seems Clutch only used "fire" and "sucks" as key words for his search. Only coaches can be fired so you get the impression that most of those threads are about coaches. But I've been here long enough to know players get trashed way more than coaches. For example Rafter Alston, a MLE player, was ripped as if he was a max player in numerous threads.

But it gets bumped 50% of the time by Lin fans everytime Lin does well and go like "hurhuurhurhur OP eat crow"/
You couldn't be more wrong. I've seen this thread before many times over. The only difference between this thread and those I listed is that the subject/target of this thread is someone who has millions of fans following him, hence the additional replies.
I guarantee you...100% and this is probably because there are so many of them and Clutch doesn't have the time to pull them all up... "Yao Ming is a Joke or something like it" thread Aaron Brooks is not true point guard I hope he gets injured and never plays! The Toronto Game T-mac blah blah rabble rabble he is a disgrace... Statements like this and threads akin to that are too countless to reap up. This the only time some people have gotten extremely but hurt over something.
