The Rockets need to fire Rudy Tomjanovich because he doesn't know how to use his players. He has no control of the team and he lets Steve and Cat do whatever they want. He is scared of them.
Head Hunters, By Sofine81 Outside of New York City, Houston may have the most feckle group of fans in the NBA. Just a mere four games into the season, playing without Taylor, Rice, and Thomas, for consideriable amounts of time, the fans are already calling for heads. First it was young Eddie Griffin, who through the first 3 games of the season shot like a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest. And the cries went out, trade him, he was a bust, we should have kept Joe. Then the cry went out for Yao Ming, a man who went scorless in game one, yet we forget to mention that he had only been in town for about 11 days, and he barely knew the plays or the players. We must also keep in mind, he is only 22 yrs young, and he will mature and grow into a player that Houston will be proud of! Let me insert right here, Dont worry what nasayers and sports writers, and Ill intentioned dragons with posionous tounges may say, cause when Yao is dominating all those people will be getting in line for a lip shot at this young man's rear. Then we heard the load voicerations of TRADE HIM. TRADE HIM Rang forth from the rafters of the BBS. They were calling for the head of none other than Cat Mobley. He was put down and critized for shooting the ball, when in reality, that is his job, cause he is a SHOOTING guard. Then we heard a great cry for a PURE point guard, When the one we have is a rare breed, he is the second leading scorer in the NBA, 30.3 points, 5.8 assist, and 10 REBOUNDS per game!!! What more can you ask for? Well as fans you are asking for his head. The a man that should be MR. Rocket, 33 yrs in the organization, as a player, scout, assistant coach, and head coach. One of the most respected Head coach in the NBA, Rudy T. Let me clarify something, these men, respect Rudy, He is a player's coach. These guys know Rudy is in their corner. If anyone can bring this group together it is Rudy T. and if we are sarching for heads maybe we should pull our own out of our lower posterior.
Rudy T is going to stay. other than Phil Jackson, who else has a championship in the league right now? I can't think of any at this moment, but I'll keep trying. Until then... I gotta say this thread is horrid.
Rudy is not the problem nor is SF & CAT. The Rockets are getting better and will only go up IMO. Except for the Pacers game they have played pretty good. We will see this team really start to grow in 10-15 games. JLB
