I'm not sure... but this is by far the worst coaching performance by a Rockets head coach that I've ever seen... pretty clueless.

Because the season lasts 82 games and for some continuity, we need the same starting lineup that gives Houston close to a 70% winning percentage.

Maybe Adelman needed this loss with Rafer's typical crappy play as justification to start Brooks from here on out.

    A brotha can dream right??

Thats the million dollar question I want to know. Rafer should be coming off the bench now, period.

Like I said earlier, if Adelman keeps being stubborn like JVG was regarding Rafer, he will suffer the same fate.

Come on thacabbage... there are lots of reasons.

    1. His defense on Chris Paul is too valuable.
    2. He knows the offense the best.
    3. He knows how to get Tracy McGrady the ball where he's comfortable.
    4. Who else could make a post pass to Yao?
    5. His shooting doesn't hurt us.
    6. He's Mr. Clutch in the fourth.
    7. His presence has a magical impact on our +/-.
    8. He's a top 5 point guard who is a darkhorse for the All-Star game.

I'm not even going that far. Who starts is a totally different issue. But at that point in time, bringing Rafer Alston back into this game was completely inexcusable.

I blame this loss on Adelman.

Or Battier, Or McGrady for that matter.

I agree that the loss is on coach Adelman. I don't know what he was thinking.

Rafer was not the problem to blame him means you just dont like him. the real problem is tracy he shouldnt have played I would rather have rafer and brooks. I would have played barry before tmac tonight

cause adelman is a dumb coach

u dont sit down the players playin well and play the ones who dont show up to the game. thats sending the wrong message

at least he shoulda played brooks. iam done with adelman. our defense is worse and offense choatic in a defensively weak league. he was suppose to be offensive genius but hes sucked at both

i think when alston is playing well, and he has played well this season, he's your point guard. i think he deserves to start and i love brooks off the bench, but...

you can't subsitute these players like a robot, brooks was clearly outplaying alston and with t-mac barely moving, we needed someone who could score and create for himself other than yao. if alston and t-mac didn't play tonight, we likely win. that's a sad state for our injury situation and the hornets, who really don't look good.

Rafer was the reason that keep the score close. Otherwise, we should have won.

I'm really not understanding why we aren't winning more games.

You can blame injuries all you want, but this team is supposed to have all the talent to win games and right now I just see a completely discombobulated offense that can't get easy baskets to save its life.
