Walt Williams is easily the worst player to ever wear a Rocket's uniform. He plays no defense and hits the sides of backboards on wide open baseline shots. I saw him miss 3 open layups in 1 game. He certainly is not a starter worth the 5 million dollars he makes. Please cut or trade Walt Williams and we can maybe avoid the Lottery! Am I the only one in clutchland who feels this way?

A simple question: how many championships has Scottie won without Michael?

He played well early but got 3 quick fouls. He doesnt have a REALLY bad defensive game. But its not that great. Alot of players are overpaid. Great Example ; Scottie Pippen.

Are you sure Francis3 that you were watching Walt Williams? Watch Carlos Rogers or Kenny Thomas crash the boards. Walt stands around and just plain and simply sucks!

Outside of his foul trouble and early-season shooting slump, Walt Williams is a good player. At least as good as the coaching staff will let him. Notice he got 3 fouls and ended up a forgotten man on the bench. Much like Shandon Anderson and Kelvin Cato. Sure, you want to protect your guys from fouling out, but I'd rather see our "best" players, the starters, putting in starters minutes and foul out late than to be sitting on the bench more than half the game.

If they're not worthy of starters minutes, DON'T START THEM! If they are, then PLAY THEM! This is the most frustrating thing about Rudy's rotation. He forgets about his players. Those guys are starting for a reason. They are supposed to be your best players. If they aren't, then you risk the other team getting a big lead on your early and playing from behind the whole game. I could go on and on, but I'll spare you.

Remember the Smith-Cassell combo. Cassell came off the bench because he worked best as a number 1 or 2 scoring option. Rudy uses some unusual combos. This year and last year they didn't work, but the team lacked the chemistry to make them work also.

At the end of games, defense is important.
