Just thought I would make this it's own thread since it seems to be picking up momentum. Hope the mods don't mind. So far, this is what's been reported:
if legit, this is a great service. i'll be looking into subscribing. i don't think CSN will get a deal done this year, plus i travel for work during the week.
Considering they have no blackout restrictions and they are located in the Netherlands, I have a hard time believing this is a truly legitimate, at least in the eyes of the NBA.
definitely not legitimate, you're right.. but if i can watch the games, it's legit from my pov. seems like users on here have had success during summer league.. i'm in.
As time passes, I'm more tempted to try this. It's just $60. Year long VPN service is $35 and League Pass is, what, $150? At ~1/3 the cost, I could give it a try. Certainly possible to have the thing get shut down, but I don't know if it's likely. It's a gamble, but I'm more and more leaning towards taking that gamble.
that's my take on it. it is a 60$ gamble, not that outrageous. the hockey site has been going strong for a few years now. the NBA may flex more muscle and get this shut down, but it's worth a try IMO.
If this works out, that's awesome. If not, VPN + LP is the way to work. 100% guaranteed to work if done correctly. NBA can't do **** about that either.
Did this a few years ago, was still very annoying to setup a different IP every night before the game.
The archives are good in terms of quality which include both orlando and vegas summer leagues. Crossing my fingers for the live feed. For $60 (they charge $3 for paypal) worth a try imho, esp. You can watch all 30 teams.
