With the re-arrival of Mike James...we can say bye bye to Spanoulis and our PG drafting. A hole goes now to our PF position...where will we address this? draf? FA? or trade?

Either FA or Draft. I think most likely FA because Sean Williams is the only PF lurking around our spot in the draft.

Juwan was not a good PF for Yao anyway and the guy is cursed.

I'm gonna go out on a hunch and say that we trade the #26 pick and Rafer Alston for a PF. Perhaps Varejao from Cleveland?

varejao is NOT worth rafer and the 26...he's their bench pf for christ's sake. I don't think I'd even do rafer for varejao and I LIKE varejao.

I like Sideshow Bob's hustle and he shows some flashes, but I don't think he's worth Rafer + 26. Plus, him playing 30-35 minutes a night against WC PFs? Eh, no thanks.

Man, I can't think of any other available PF's decent enough. I think it's because I'm caught up in the James trade. Maybe Detroit is an option? This year's draft may be deep, but I haven't heard too much about the PFs

Jamaal Magloire. 6'11". 29 years old. Three years removed from averaging 14/10 and can be pretty good next to Yao. I have my flame suit on so I'm ready but honestly, if we can sign him for 2-3 years at the MLE, I think it would be a great pickup.

Then again, some here are clamoring for C-Webb. Would be kind of ironic that he'd sign with Houston when it was our team he screwed with during his FA year.

I think we'll trade Battier, Head, and the 26 for an All Star caliber powerforward.

I haven't seen Jamaal play much since college, but he could always block shots and had some power moves around the hoop.

I feel like I need to watch some tape of Adelman's former teams to see what sort of player he likes to incorporate into his system before saying that Jamaal is the answer at PF.

The Pistons do seem to have a lot of guys that fit the PF mold, so maybe they would be willing to trade for a guard or two?
