Jamaal is really a C and not a PF. He is slow for a PF and a bad fit next to Yao. His shot blocking in the NBA is also not very good. I'd think some size-starved team will sign him rather than the Rockets.

Adelman's former PF is all over the place, ranging from star Chris Webber, to garbage man extrordinaire Buck Williams to the likes of Brad Miller, Kenny Thomas, Uncle Cliffy Robinson.

I also think they are too much, but i'd do it if it was the only way.

I also think Gooden is a Juwan Howard clone with slightly better rebounding, not worth Battier IMO

Magloire's true position is center like you said but I honestly think he can play the 4 for the Rockets. He has the size to defend the Amares and the Boozers in the West. As for speed, I never thought he was slow as molasses. Of course, I'm also thinking he's going to get paid pretty nicely by another NBA like you had mentioned but there's hope right? hahah.

The power forward that I really want is Haslem buuut that's not going to happen...unless we do some sort of trade...maybe to help them replace their defensive specialist/3 pt shooter James Posey....hmm....

I'm 100% certain Les and Morey do not want Kenny Thomas' contract back.

is he still on that 7/$49 mil contract? because that is one ugly contract.

Just a thought: Used the trade checker and Battier for Udonis Haslem works straight up. Of course, throwing in Novak as a replacement for the soon-to-be-overpaid Kapono sweetens the deal.

is his contract that bad? damn nm then.

and also, i dont recall gooden being that bad. he's young, athletic, good at boarding, and hustles. i think he could be a great asset.

just watching the Cavs in the playoffs tells me a lot about Gooden. The kid can make shots but he seem to have an idiot button that gets pushed every so often that causes him to do stupid things like flagrant fouls and drawing Ts.

I'd like to revisit my Battier-for-AK47 idea.

I don't think there is any way to make it work under the salery cap with out getting a 3rd team involved

There is but you essentially gut the Rockets and the Jazz would have to take on more bad contracts than they could stomach.
