Since the draft has come and gone without picking a PG, the most realistic options are Llull and/or PatBev...

I'm just concerned that some stupid team *Cough* The Knicks/Mavs *Cough* will over pay PatBev and leave us with another Chandler Parsons situation, where we could easily lose him.

I keep seeing mixed reports about what Llull is going to do, and I don't understand why he hasn't officially made a decision. His Spanish season is over, so there's no real reason to keep Morey waiting like this.

The only free agent PG I hear is a possibility is Rodney Stuckey.

Don't see why Raptors would trade Lowry now after getting Carroll.

Ty Lawson and Eric Bledsoe I'm guessing are "wait and see" guys, but we'd obviously have to trade a lot of cap to get them, possibly even Arzia.

Just worried PatBev will sign a ridiculous offer sheet and Llull will leave us high and dry, with no PG option, other than a scrub or a massive trade.

    All in for Lulz.

Lulz is on the back-burner while they try to fry bigger fish.

Why don't we all just wait a few days and find out .

But in terms of speculation I hope we bring back bev at a decent price and also sign llull. Having both of those guys will make us solid at the spot.

Coaching and Point Guards are in the same level or priority. None

This seems like a legit concern, though I'm open to being convinced otherwise.

Might be a risky pick up. Low IQ and needs to mature. Might need time in the D-League, so maybe we can send him to RealGM.

    Don't worry! my boys!
The game is just beginning, Bledesoi, Lawson, Jeannings, Jack and others r all to be sold if the price is OK!

Rockets were never going to draft a pg to be their pg...

    Sigh...

I'm afraid it's going to be like Lowry last year, we're going to wait around to hear where Love or Aldridge or Wade or whomever is going to do, then end up with nothing.

A Llull in the hand is better than two Loves in the bush.

The Rockets could probably get Mario Chalmers for any contract(s) that can get voided (i.e. KPap -OR- Prigs + Nick Johnson). Salaries match, and Miami avoids a ton of luxury tax. Now that they've signed Dragic, I suspect that Birdman and Chalmers will be dumped for cap relief. Chalmers has one year left at $4.3M, so would be a one year rental and less than MLE money.

We might end up with something like Llull/Chalmers or Beverley/Chalmers...just a thought.

We had Jerian Grant for the taking and passed.:(

So I really hope they have a good plan for a severely upgraded PG rotation.

PBev injury prone (2 out of 3 playoffs being injured...meniscus & wrist) and a Jason Terry.... no beuno.

    And after Terry-Prigs? Uf.

I wish the best for Grant, so I can't wait to see what he does in a Knicks uniform. Sweet sorrow if he starts tearing it up his rookie year.

    PG options:

    Ty Lawson
    Ricky Rubio
Kyle Lowry (could be made available)
Deron Williams (If Nets buy him out)
Brandon Jennings/Reggie Jackson (Could see Pistons trading one of them)
Eric Bledsoe (Reports that he could be made available once Knight signs)
Darren Collison (Kings are reportedly looking for a PG)

I feel as if we could have gotten Rubio during the draft had we taken Tyus Jones instead of Dekker. Now I don't really see what we have that the Wolves would really be after. I actually like his fit. The Rockets needs a play-making PG that can defend the PG's of the West and Rubio satisfies both of those things. Sure he has doesn't have much of a jump shot, but that is something that can be improved upon. IMO his injury history is more concerning than his jump shot.

The Kings love taking our PF's, so I could totally see us trading Jones for Collison if the Kings manage to sign a better PG.

Ty Lawson has had several off court issues and his defense isn't great. He may be the most available of the bunch though. He can shoot the 3 and was third in the league in assists last year. I'd still rather have Rubio than Lawson if the price was the same however.

Deron Williams is an intriguing option if the Nets buy his contract out. However, I'm not sure the Rockets can afford to take the wait and see approach with this. He has definitely lost a step, but he could be the cheapest option.

Patty Mills as well. But i'm not convinced he would be that much of an upgrade over Bev. Definitely better on offense.

Signing Llull, and trading for Bledsoe, would put us over the top IMO. DMo/Smith is still a great option at the 4, probably the best tandem 4 in the league.

Sign Llull & deal for Ty Lawson

    Llull/Lawson/Prigs
    Harden/Johnson/Terry
    Ariza/Brewer/Dekker
    Motiejunas/Smith/Harrell
    Howard/Capela/FA
