And how many picks did Ricky use to trade up for this guy...??? This shouldn't be of any surprise considering the medical concerns for Nix before he was drafted.
Could be a good thing. Really allow his knee to heal and get stronger then comes back next year. Also, I like the Pickett signing.
So if he had a great season, do you also give Rick Smith the credit? Or do you give it to the coaches. IMO this had to be a Romeo pick. He got Powe from KC and probably insisted on Nix too.
BOB hasnt been high on this guy at all since camp started. Im guessing that the Nix injury isnt quite as severe as a season long IR indicates. Instead of having Nix take up a roster spot, they put him on IR because he wasnt in a position to get playing time anyways.
Regardless on if Romeo wanted Nix, Ricky is the GM... And with Nix's medical history _ they probably wouldn't have had to move up to draft him because Nix's was falling in the draft like a brick. He probably would have been available in the 4th, 5th, or 6th round.
Agreed, if you don't contribute from day 1, you are automatically a wasted pick. Just like Kareem Jackson.
huh? I'm calling him a waste because he's had known injury issues, gets hurt in his first year without even playing, and our coach seems to think low of his work ethic/motivation.
