BFD.... Now he's a super star? He averaged just over 14 points a game last year, shoots only .320 from three, and free throws at .798. BFD!
I would just like to point out.. that I and durvasa and several others liked the idea of Lin being pulled off waivers to spend time as a Rocket before Linsanity! link I just underestimated his impact a little Still, very glad to have him back in Rockets red... hopefully he is more talented than I originally thought Thought this one was pretty good too... link In fact other than the racism and mean-ness in the thread that one is an amusing look back to say the least.
Well played sir. Question -- where you ridiculed and mocked at the time for mentioning that he looked good in the summer league games? I ask because that seems to be all the rage this summer.
BeaRocketFan, your username reminds me of a pretty hilarious Southpark skit. ManBearPig. Is this where you got the idea? Not mocking you, just curious. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xf69EEL3WBk?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
This. I guess it depends on ppl's definition of superstar. Lin coming from bench warmer all the way to playing lights out in one of the most polarizing and exciting NBA venues, is an awesome story. I hope he continues it here. As for him being a superstar... no not yet, if ever, but I'm rooting for him regardless. Don't underestimate the Chinese vote. Lin will be an all-star in no time. Honestly, I think he's a good point guard that is better than what we had in the past few years. (Judging from the game I watched while he's playing for the Knicks.) He does have one fault which would be corrected since he's Harvard Smart. I remember last year when Knicks played the Celtics, Lin was dishing it out every time in the lane, he needs to be a bit more selfish and finish from time to time, so to keep people guessing. At the time, it leads to numerous turn over, it almost feels like he is trying too hard to get his team mate the ball. Point guard that he is, he's unselfish. He got a great first step that allow him space to finish in the lane, just go for a basket and not risking pass in traffic. Imagine, if somehow Yao is still playing. With two IQ high guys on the floor, it would be awesome. Man, it's not meant to be.
Chris Rock @chrisrock July 18, 2012If linn were a 23 old black kid who came straight from high school and had tat on his neck that said thug life and happened to score 38 points on the lakers I don't think anyone would question his contract. 16 Jul Chris Rock @chrisrock Jeremy linn I've never seen grown men hate on another mans money like this in my life . 15 Jul Chris Rock @chrisrock Please knicks keep linn lets not have a brand new team for the tenth year in a row.
