Oh, I'm thankful for him bringing pro football back to Houston, but that doesn't mean he gets a free pass on EVERYTHING else...ad infinitum.
I don't think it means that either, but we should be happy that the Texans didn't trade down because the odds of striking out are too high. Everyone talked about how the Rams fleeced the Redskins, but they didn't really get all that much in trade. Sure RG3 was a bust, but had the Rams simply kept the pick and taken Luke Kuechly then they would have come out ahead. In the end, I think the Texans will have been better for just taking Clowney and the Titans could end up to where they'd have been better off just taking someone rather than trading back.
