This troll's comments reminds me of this cool scene from the Dark Knight: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1z6o1GIEsQE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/04/19/texans-rb-alfred-blue-has-a-famous-workout-partner/ Say what you want about Alfred Blue, but you can't fault the guy's dedication. I'm now looking forward to what he brings this upcoming season.

He's got several offers on the table. He's not guaranteed a starting spot anywhere, but his path to one is likely better somewhere else. Doubt he signs here.

He's a character, which I think the Texans need more of. Problem is, he's just not a very good player.
I heard somebody on 610 (maybe McClain) talking about how he's yet to evolve as a player. He was the same guy in game 16 of year 2 as he was in training camp of year 1. Still goes for the big hit instead of the sure tackle.
Well this is gonna hurt our secondary even more considering Kendrick Lewis was signed by the Ravens... which completely went under the radar for me. When did that happen??
I've been negative on Swearinger from his first game. Bad in coverage, supposed to be good in run support but doesn't know how to tackle, penalty prone... I hope they find someone to take him. I also don't buy into the idea that the Texans need more characters. They need more good players. They haven't been bad/mediocre for most of their franchise because they were boring or too nice, they just haven't been good enough.
Yup. I feel like Landon Collins can not only bring the same swagger and run enforcement mentality DJ brings to the field, but he also IMO is a player that has greater potential than Swearinger as well. He want's to be a great safety like Sean Taylor one day, so you can also assume that his Intangibles and Mindset are in the right place. Would not be disappointed at all if we picked him, regardless of whether or not Swearinger is still on the team.
I get that, but having some guys who are both wouldn't hurt either. (think Antonio Smith) I don't think we need more characters to win per se, I just think it makes post-game interviews more fun.
it's always been my wishful thinking that one of our young guys, abundance of potential in the cbs, would move over to safety. they make the best cover safeties in the new arena league.
Well Kareem was a first round pick who, until last year, was playing for the same regime his entire career. While DJ was a second round pick who was not picked by the current regime. O'Brien doesn't have to justify getting rid of a young second round pick that he didn't choose.
Kareem Jackson showed improvement in his second year. Actually, it was drastic bc of how poor his rookie season was.
