    Obviously Martin would be the starter if no Dwight Howard trade goes through. Those of you who think he would be traded before the season are kidding yourselves--he has much more value at the trade deadline, especially if he's healthy and plays at his career average level.

    i caught that too. Very interesting. Don't know if he's trying to motivate Pat, or if it's just a reasonable omission given that we have so much comptetion at the 4 position this year. Our three rookie PFs behind Patterson are all arguably more talented than he is.
