I'll start to believe this a little bit when he signs those rookies but only a little bit.

 

i can see patterson developing, I think its easy to forget that if you started last season with an injury it was really hard to get back in shape and that is what happened with him. It seemed to me that he was rounding into shape towards the end. He has to develop a post game but his jumper is solid and he displayed really good leaping ability and the ability to block shots as a result. If he can get back to that along with asik at the 5, we can be a much much improved defensive team simply because
1 mchale wants us to be
2 asik, parsons, patterson would give us 3 above average defenders

this would also help us bc the more stops we get the more we can get out on the break which i think we will look to do

 

What are the chances this trip out to L.A. is not only a last ditch effort to convince Dwight to give them a chance to show him what they can do, but also to tell him, "Look... if not... then here's the deal... we're trading you to Houston. They've consistently had the best offer for the franchise to move forward and it's the deal we're taking..."

Possibly hoping THAT will convince him to give them this year, with a POSSIBILITY at least that he might re-sign there? lol. Who knows.

 

I hope he does, he will improve defensively I mean he is already half way there. But Idk about his offense besides his jumper he really does not have a solid post game and sometimes has lapses regarding his finishing, those weak floaters he used to shoot instead of a hard layup or dunk used to annoy me. To me our rookie forwards have much more to offer than Patterson.
