if it doesn't happen by mid-August, it's likely not happening. No way Orlando spends another year in the Dwightmare, destroying their fresh start, miring their new coach in controversy, and wasting a rebuilding year in the late lotto/just out of the lotto. The clock is ticking on Hennigan. All Morey has to do is have the guts to wait him out.

 

Really? Morey usually only tweets when the deal is done... im not buying the smoke screen argument yet.

 

You would think Morey would hype up Pat as a starter though...everyone on this board is willing to give up Pat instead of any of the rookies

I have a feeling Alexander may be the one holding back(Lamb/Mont.) because he fears making the mistake he did with Lin.

He already admitted making a huge mistake there,not likely the kind of guy to turn around and do the same thing so soon.Those 2 have gotten a lot of hype on a national scale

I'm really liking this offseason! Full of highs and lows with very little in between. Everyday there is new Rockets news. Morey, whether it has been his intention to draw as much attention to the organization as possible or whether it has just so happened to end up that way, has really made the franchise a compelling story for everyone in the NBA and those not that familiar. I have run into quite a few people who either know very little about basketball or are not fans of basketball at all bring up the Rockets name and the changes that are happening. This is nothing but good for Les and Morey. It's a strange and exciting time to be a Rockets fan and I love it!
