Difference is that Harden was a Top 3 draft prospect, Parsons isn't. One guy was "Underachieving" playing a 6th man role, one guy was overachieving in a starter role.
Last season Dallas shot .383 from 3 as a team. This season, the only players they have who shot .383 or better from 3 are Richard Jefferson and Dirk. Good luck keeping that scoring up!

kinda sad that mavs fans have to go to clutchfans, which is understandable since there site is basically dead and don't have any fans to begin with. http://www.dallas-mavs.com/vb/showthread.php?t=38914
He sucks at FT shooting and cannot create his own shot. He also cannot shoot coming off pin downs so where is gonna get these extra shots from. When goes to the basket he tries to avoid contact whereas Harden initiates it. This is why Parsons misses so many dipsy doo left handed lay ups.
As in who? Please name their assortment of role players. Then name me their stars. Then name who will play defense on that team.
Not sure he'll get more shots. Ellis and Dirk took more shots that Howard and Harden on a slower paced team.
one only needs to look at harden's ridiculous TS% and the number of points he was averaging in only 31 minutes to see the obvious difference.
Mavs team that won the ring went WAY over the hard cap to pay for that team. Remember all that stuff that went down in court when one of the paial owners of the mavs sued cuban for wreckless spending? Thats why they broke up that championship roster. Heat had 3 great superstars. Mavs had a whole roster full of expensive players they were willing to pay for.
