LMAO the whole point of having a guaranteed contract is that you can put all your eggs in one basket, the main reason Sanders left is because he thought he already had it made and now, he's probably thinking of coming back because he probably burned through his $$$ and now his standard of living is so high he can't make do with the annual 1M salary he is getting.

I think any team who takes him would be stupid, it's clear his heart isn't in the NBA anymore, more likely he wants to sign another big time deal and then leave again, or just mail it in Rasheed Wallace style. pass

Guys like him and Royce White are con men. They'll pretend to be cooperative, that they can work through their issues. Once they've signed, they expect everything they're owed despite doing nothing on their end. Everyone else is being unreasonable, they are blameless. That's how their minds work.

In this case they're conning billionaires. I'm sure some people will support them for that fact alone, but people like them operate everywhere. I've had the pleasure of working with one, myself. Tip for everyone in the business world: NEVER give someone with red flags the benefit of the doubt. No matter how well they present themselves, no matter what they promise just don't do it. It's a show and they will burn you. There are enough hard working, honest people out there looking for those same opportunities. Save yourself the stress.

So If you have a mental disorder, or any sort of "red flag", you are just screwed...

But is a mental disorder a red flag? I thought it was a disorder of the mind.

My post was a bit misleading. I'm not talking about their mental health issues. I'm talking about their various legal, behavioral, and substance abuse issues. With White, these issues were already present before he was drafted. With Sanders, his issues were present before his extension. I call them con men because they never take accountability for their actions and instead hide behind the cover of mental illness.

As someone diagnosed with depression and anxiety, these men upset me because they claim to be advocates of mental health sufferers while setting us back on that front. Anxiety does not automatically make you a thief, it does not automatically make you unfit to work, it does not automatically make you refuse to take prescribed medication and self-medicate with medical mar1juana instead. These men refuse actual psychological help and support, then blame the organizations they work for for not providing enough of it.

So no, I'm not talking about people with any mental disorder. That in itself is not a red flag.

How could he blow $20 million way that quickly?

Did he buy 20 houses like Antoinne Walker and blow away his $120 millions and now sharing a $500 a month apartment with 4 people?
