How did this dude even land another head coaching job? Hiring him would be a lot easier to defend if Kidd had Popovich's track record, but he has nothing close to that. Also, the NBA and the Mavs are still a business - like with any other business, wouldn't the Mavs have done a background check on Kidd, or at least go over anecdotal evidence to see if he was a good person? Sheeesh.
doesn't this guy already have a history of abuse w/ his ex-wifey. nearly 30yrs ago in college i saw him several times a week in tutorial session. lot of rumors then he was dumb AF and nobody could manage to teach him basic algebra
Mavs have a history of abusing females themselves. Some female executive filed a case or w/e so not surprised they dont care about Kidds checkered past.
Isn’t that a little part of coaching? Also, the nba and basketball is stacked full of trash talkers. It’s hard to believe Sanders didn’t hear worse growing up on the playground courts. The physical stuff is pushing the limit but how are you supposed to get guys to improve conditioning if you have to stop because they’re tired and “can’t go any further?” Isn’t that how people make gains in the gym? I wouldn’t know, I’m lazy af on the court and on the soccer field. I take plays off lol. making them play on Christmas is mean. But for a team wanting to win rings, don’t you need some of that? Someone to keep you in line. Y’all sucked. You’re not getting a vacation, you’re going to practice until you don’t suck anymore. even if kidd went too far I still think today’s nba players are mentally soft and far less passionate about the game/winning (without engineering stacked teams).
