I think Chip is the only one who is saying it's broken. But it doesn't sound like Stidham will be playing this weekend, regardless.
Baylor fans usually find some way to defend it but it's been going on for way too long now. The Big 12 as a whole needs to follow OU & UT's example or add 2 more teams.
They're not punishing us though. We're in if OU and Notre Dame lose. Duke is on the schedule at least after next season. I hope we can add another decent school soon bc Utah won't be on until 21 and 22. This isn't defending it.. I don't make the schedule.
I get it...and I wish they'd schedule tougher teams. But honestly, playing in the Big XII affords you a pretty hearty schedule in and of itself from year to year for the most part. And you play EVERYONE....you can't pull an Iowa and play half of a conference in a division of nobodies. By the time Iowa plays one really good team, Baylor will have already played OK State, TCU and OU. Baylor should schedule one out of conference game against a team from one of the 5 major conferences...and then play Directional Nobody State in the others.
Last night seems to be a moot point. If OU can hold on, Baylor ends up winning the three way tie with TCU and Ok State. That means Baylor will be playing Florida in the Sugar Bowl.
But they scheduled Duke! The BigXII as it stands, with OU being OU, with KState down, UT down, Tech and OSU being what they are, Baylor and TCU being the pride of the confrence, this is not a solid conference.
Yeah if we won last night. Things changed. I'm just glad that we're getting a decent bowl game at this point assuming we beat Texas.
Ah, I take that back. I shouldn't have any problem with Baylor, and it's not cool to post that in that team's thread. I just hope they start winning their bowl games and starts to schedule decent nonconference games. That will help the whole conference. I am very disappointed by your QB injuries. Best of luck.
