Well, in the General's defense...if I were married to his wife, my eye would probably be roving too.......
Nope, doesn't pass the smell test. As far as I can tell, the CIA screwed up very badly in Libya, and Petraeus was at least partially responsible for giving the administration misinformation in the first few hours after the attack, and bungling the initial response in the hours it took before the military could get involved. The timing of this with the election probably made it an unforgivable offense. It is somewhat remarkable that the US government actually held someone directly accountable for a major screwup after decades of coverups in similar situations. I wasn't aware of this previously, but two of the dead were CIA operatives.
via Ben Swann: CIA Director Petraus was supposed to testify on Benghazi and according to Senate Intelligence Committee, he will no longer testify. How does that work? Why would having an affair, then stepping down prevent you from testifying? I think that is why they have something called subpeona power.
Why is everyone talking about Benghazi? Is it some new Indian restaurant? Anyway the Jezebel in question is Paula Broadwell. Not as hot as Miss Scott but would let her sit on my face.
His wife is gross. I'm not condoning it, but dude is an alpha male. He has needs. And after seeing the pictures of the other lady, I give him a pass... and a high five.
I bet El General was balls deep in that ass on Sep 11 2012. I don't blame him for turning off his cell phone.
Rep'd. Lol. Look, I am not narcissistic, but people have to keep up with how they look. Just don't let it all go. Lol.

I feel bad for the husband who's wife cheated on him with the general. Dr. Scott Broadwell. It'd have been better for Petraeus to be honest with his woman on her not being attractive.
It's a big deal, especially if that leader is entrusted with national security secrets. Blackmail does exist in this world.
The idea of your top spy cheating on his wife is disturbing as it indicates a lack of honesty and that is scary enough from any intelligence official. You can't have anyone in intelligence who puts themselves in compromising positions. How many spy leaks are related to affairs?
