How could there possibly be no takers for Lin? Aside from the fact that, when healthy, he's played fantastic basketball this season, he is an incredibly marketable player.

If, for example, I am a rebuilding Toronto team, I'm all over Lin. You have a star you can market internationally and to your large local Asian populace. And does anyone here doubt Lin would easily average 20+ as a go to guy on a bad team?

    I certainly don't.

Solid player. Short contract. Fantastic marketing opportunities. There have to be at least a half a dozen teams in the league that would be VERY interested in that. I would think it is just a matter of what our asking price is.

What is the context on this? Which radio show did Hahn report this on? It's a small audio clip, so is it recent or old?

or a good young player, expiring, and picks that could be used to get a star.

It's probably best for both parties.
It would be funny if both Lin and Felton ended up in Toronto.

Hahn works for MSG and is basically Dolan's mouthpiece. He's probably doing damage control because Felton was supposed to be a much better player then Lin and the Knicks are scrambling to upgrade at the pg position. Just like how Berman recently tweeted how the Knicks came out ahead on the Bargnani trade.
