I could see him averaging 17 boards a game in a few years. He is young and most big men get better and better till they hit their prime from 28 to 32 years of age. He is 23 and still has a good 7 to 9 years of improving in him. 13 points 17 boards a game is his maximum.
i thought he was only 23. Ok he is entering his prime now. I still think he can average 15 to 17 boards a season.
I have been extremely impressed with Omer's play. I think his ceiling is a 15 points / 15 rebounds / 2 blocks per game. Great defender who needs to learn to dunk the ball instead of laying it up.
Rik Smits is his ceiling, but his Asik's offensive rebounds is off the chart. I was digging around about Asik, I think we got Delfino because of Asik. They have the same agent and I don't think anyone saw Delfino coming here.
Ömer's ceiling will be determined by his ability to shoot, layup or dunk in traffic. Coz when he reaches a scoring level of 15-25, they are gonna try to kill him. But he won't go down from here. btw fav poster so far, bravefox. but I ain't seen many yet.
His ceiling is being the starting center of the championship wining team. Comparing a player to other players is moronic. A player is just as good as the positive effect he brings to the team.
Very impressive performance he could be a top center in this league perhaps..... 1. Howard 2. Lopez 3. Bynum 4. Horford.... to me he is slipping 5. Turkish hammer, Asik, Varajo, Tyson Chandler Jefferson, Duncun, Garnett, Bosh are the hybrid centers
In a league where dense derozan is making $10Mil a year, Omer at $8mil may be one of the most valuable contracts in the league.
Ben Wallace was really versatile on D. Asik is nimble for his size and good on pick-n-rolls but not quite on Ben Wallace level to where he can play passing lanes and get deflections. Though his ceiling isnt as far off as it might appear if Asiki can finish at the goal and hit some free throws.
