You have my sword.
Great article, especially if it diverts our attention from the Gasol and Bosh trade speculation threads, towards the real trade prize.
But you have to wonder, if Howard doesn't even want to be here (according to the article, he only opted in because he didn't want to be traded to Houston), what's the point of trading for him anyway? How do you know if he would give max effort if he was indeed traded here?
again? enough already.
If you trade for Howard in the offseason it could lure Deron Williams to Houston. Deron would now have a choice: Play with Dirk or Dwight?
That's only speculation.
Besides, people's attitudes and minds changes.
If Dwight ends up here and is romping for a top 3 seed, will he look at his contract extension differently?
Easy choice IMO. I hope Daryl can pull it off. He deserves a break for once.
Definition of insanity.
If you trade for him before free agency, Rockets become frontrunners for Deron Williams imo, and a resigned Howard.
If we trade for dwight and lure williams, we screw dallas in the process
That is mentioned in the article.
This would kill me, but since Howard missed the end of the season and playoffs with his back problems, it's not so bad.
This^. But this is what Clutchfans ask for. I'm starting to think most of you(including Morey and Les) are addicted to rejection.
Morey is like the Susan Lucci of NBA GMs.
I really curious to know who the Rockets offered Orlando.
Of couse the "superstar" we'd get is coming off a season where he both mentally and physically broke down. No thanks.
Nicely written article.
Wheels keep spinning.
like saying the redskins will be players in free agency.
I'd rather play all of our young guys and get 30 wins each year for the next four years than to sign this turd and see him leave after the rental is over.
