I wasn't suggesting that at all.

Indeed. Because if Hibbert had been drafted by the Rockets with a 4-year locked in deal, he would most certainly sabatoge his entire NBA career in order to make a point about not wanting to play in the DLeague. After all, we know letting an NBA team know you don't care about no DLeague is much more important than making millions of dollars per year with the potential to make tens of millions of dollars per year.

I view Hibbert as Okafor on the Bobcats.

Decent young player that everyone was kinda interested in. Will get overpaid and fade away into oblivion.

Oh like waiving jeremy lin. Good eval there. Oh and trading batum to the blazers. Oh and on and on and on. D league is demoralizing. Ask marcus morris. Trial by fire brings out the best or worst in people.

You can't call waiving Jeremy Lin a big mistake. A number of teams did the same thing. You have to understand the situation the Rockets were in. It was either keep him or someone else on the roster. I think they would have kept him if the Gasol trade went through. He would have then been a back up on the team.

Before that you got Lowry and Dragic. Do you really think a third string PG was worth keeping at that point based on the needs of the team?

Yeah, the Rockets may never win a bidding war with other teams.

But it's cute that Daryl Morey keeps trying.

EDIT: They'll probably offer Gordon...but he won't accept.

If we want a decent C who has upside go for McGee.

Yeah, at that rate, if we keep that mindset, we won't have a franchise. So what good are the Rockets then if no one wants to play here? Let's just sell and move the club. No one wants to play here right? Weak excuse for not going after someone.
