Then K-mart will get traded for an expiring and I'm ok with that. More cap space.

I don't think K-Mart gives a damn... He's a professional..He light up the next team for 30, then these type of conclusions will go away for a while

    This ...

If this is the best we can do, then do it. I like Lee and Dragic. And I'd rather take Martin's salary (not all of it) and gamble it on a player like Batum who fills a position of need, plays great defense, and has a versitle offensive game as well (exploded for 33 points last night). IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON!

K-Mart's Rep on this board jerks from snubbed All-Star to Scrub on a game-by-bame basis.

    Love it.

as it were that easy..... inconsistency sucks more than if we knew that he can only score 10 points for example

We could deal with that situation easily.

    I like it!
I've supported martin but it's obvious he's not happy with coach Mchale. He has to be traded. I say reunite him with the fuhrer.

And get what in return? Minnesota is not getting rid of Rubio, love, or Williams.

Real life trades aren't like video games people.

Lol. It's still not that easy. You probably won't get back the same value that you send out.

I don't really know why Martin would be so heart broken to be traded from the Rockets if it did happen. Certainly there are worse teams he could be sent to, but it isn't like Martin is in a situation like Gasol or Odom where they were being traded from a team that people expected to contend for a championship this year, to a potential lottery team.

In fact it's quite possible he could get traded to a team that is closer to contending this year, since I don't see too many lottery bound teams that would have Martin high on their want list even if he was playing up to last year's level.

It's certaintely possible. The Thunder's defense is pretty suspect.

expiring/ trade exception with a second round pick. You're not going to get more than that. It's no longer about getting back equal value at this point.

So Martin goes from a high efficiency scorer who doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective to a chuker who get's benched? McHale keeps talking about ball movement (wich I don't see) but with this roster what works is player movement.

Rockets we're one of the top teams in assists now all I see is isolations, contested jumpshots and bailout 3's. I don't see a major defensive improvement, we still lay out the red carpet in the paint and now offensively we've regresed as a team. Let's see how our HOF coach remedies this or maybe he'll just spit out his "do it harder" speech once again.
