JBB is just a homer like Worrell. I'm sure he'll never take a fine for the other team.

honestly thought he should be more pissed, the NBA gives no respects to big men anymore. If Dwight was officiated properly, he would get 20fta per game.

if the league fines him $250k, at least he won't have to report any net income on his tax return

This same fire by JB needs to also go toward demanding NBA caliber defense from the team. Some high school teams could but up 110 plus on this year's squad.

Going ham. However the infallible refs will have their way and the league will fine JB because God forbid you criticize the prophet Mohammad... I mean NBA refs.

That was awesome. I wish he would have just said "these mutha..." lol.

Sad to say but it was very true. Must be extremely frustrating. I've already mentally checked out as a fan so I'm just looking fwd to

    Trade deadline.
Getting bounced in playoffs (although the we can play with anyone *rollseyes)
    Getting durant (for real...I wish)
    Getting a new coach.

This is just one reason why I respect JB. I'm glad he's addressing this, and damn the fine.

Whether or not he's back next year, JB fights for his players. He holds them accountable, but he'll go out swinging for them regardless of the situation.

You can't say that about every coach. We've been through coaches who are too scared to say anything about the obvious.

He made an error by not putting in Smoov early enough, but the loss isn't purely on him. He'll take his criticism and grow from it.

I like this ride or die approach. Dwight needs support from his coach, and this is the definition of protecting your players from the officials and the league.

    Respect.

The fine is $25K for coaches who criticize officials.

I wish JVG was commenting for this game, he would go off on the refs too.

I agree that the refs sucked and that Dwight gets abused on a nightly basis. I'm also glad JB is showing some fire.

With that said, this was just a little too whiney for me. So what if Dwight has a new ice pack on his shoulder? Shut up and let your team's actions speak louder than your words. Don't blame the refs for your team's continued weak play.
