He doesn't play in Houston. Ty does. Kinda.
You need to compare Denver Ty with Utah Burke. Ty's better. Burke is VERY MEH. But Harden will kill any good pointguard that plays with him, so you gotta get MEHS of this world, like Beverley. And Burke I guess. I didn't watch much Burke, nor Burks, but in that little time Burks IMPRESSED me and Burke looked ****. We're getting the **** Burke PG, not the impressive Burks SG.
We get crap in return for Lawson. There's nothing good about this trade, just admitting how complicated is building a team about Harden.

the real downside is Lawson's salary. He could have been used in a draft day deal.
The upside is that you get out of the tax and that you take a chance on someone on a rookie contract.

I like how you justify your opinion.
    Here is what I see.
Ty has done nothing for us, besides a couple of ok games. Burke has the same skill set as Ty but a better midrange game, and is younger. He will probably show more fight than Lawson as well, I can't stand seeing Lawson having a 'go through the motions' type of attitude when he plays. There's no passion, and that lack luster energy doesn't help the current state of the team.

Only a great troll like you would blame Harden for everything.

I forgot when Harden made Ty drunk so he had the DUIs. Or made Ty so hesitant he couldn't do anything on the court. Or he made Ty's defence so **** that anyone can pass him by. Or he made Ty have crap effort.

Burke has hit a couple big shots in his time in Utah.

If Jazz trades for Lawson then ...what about Teague?
    LMAO

Could it be an intentional leak to make Atlanta lower their price?

Horrible. Better than Lawson's but Lawson has possibly the worst pg defence.

I would trade Bayless for Bev anytime.

That's what they said. LOL!!! When will the Rockets FO learn to be patient and prioritize chemistry and defense over offensive talent???

Is he really horrible on D? I was under the impression that he's working on it and has improved some.

Also, FWIW, he shoots 40% on corner threes (from both corners).

I want a PG that can play defense. I really don't care about his FG% (that much) if he can slow down the opposing offense.

I haven't watched much this year but let's say even if has improved the state of his defence he had to start with ,it would take a miracle if he nears average.

If you play him next to Harden...your perimeter defence is still the worst in the league. So was with Lawson ofc.

Useless if the other defenders on the court at the same time suck.
    One guy can't guard everybody.

Season is practically over...Rockets aren't trying to trade Dwight because they are trying to contend this year. The focus is on next year...Burke may not be here for long or the rest of team could also look different next year.
