In defense of Rondo - he must have a hard time being engaged playing for a Celtics team that would rather lose games right now than win games especially since he hasnt been part of a losing Celtics team since his rookie year. I am sure his injury is effecting him right now and he may not have 100% confidence in it. To me if a deal for Rondo is made - it will pay off this year but it will bring major benefits next season after having some time to gel with Harden and Howard AND he'll have much more confidence in his knee and wont be thinking about how he makes cuts and moves.
All I know is that you dont give up Parsons....We all keep talking about adding a 3rd star, but I would believe that a guy doing 17.5/5/4 shooting 50% from the field is pretty close...isnt those the numbers you would want from a third star, or are we just greedy. I would take Rondo for his D and court leadership but at the price of soon to be star Chandler Parsons

I am salivating at the thought of rondo in a rocket uniform o_o i really am worried about his knee and defense though. I remember reading posts at some celtics forums that were at times questioning his defensive effort
Lin coming off the bench as 6th man to Rondo and Harden is not the worst scenario in the world. In fact could be a great one.

As Clutch said, it's possible but it makes more sense for a guy like Love...not Rondo. Adding Rondo and getting rid of Parsons means you now have ONE 3 point shooter (Harden) on a team that shoots the most 3s in the NBA. Would have to be more.
