Senior in high school. I remember watching it in every class pretty much throughout the day....scary stuff. Will never forget it.
Reading these post makes me feel old. I was watching the morning news and eating breakfast at the time. I was working out of my house, I still do, and always try to catch up on the news first thing in the morning. They interrupted the news to say that a plane had crashed in the WTC. At that time most of the thinking was it was an accident but as I was watching the live feed saw the second plane hit. At that point it was pretty obvious it was no longer an accident. I called my business partner and he headed over and we were pretty much glued to the TV for the rest of the day. While we were watching we were talking about how good of a job the engineers did on the WTC that the buildings were still standing when they collapsed.
Yeah but my intent was to tie in this website to those events. Those are just "rememberance threads". So is this one, but what I was trying to do was get opinions and stuff on what the original posters were saying on here on 9/11.
I think we all talked more than we wrote back then. I know I did. Spent the whole day with my Pakistani friends hoping they wouldn't be retaliated against for being Muslims.
