    Sign Champ Bailey

I mean seriously how hard is it to identify your biggest weakness and then go after the BPA?

If you are employed by the Texans in any capacity, it is literally the hardest thing on the planet.

    1. Trade for Albert Haynesworth
    2. Sign Jason Babin
    3. Sign Ike Taylor/Jonathan Joseph/Champ
    4. Move Antonio Smith inside
    5. Send Amobi packing (or keep him for depth)

Jason Babin would probably go to the CFL before he would come here. There is a mutual hatred between him and our fans.

    1 - no
2 - no / the reason he's not here now is everyone including the fans wrote him off as a bust
3 - yes to taylor or champ...I'll pass on JJ
    4 - cut him
    5 - keep him as a backup

I agree with everything except #4. Why would you want to cut our most consistent lineman? Sure, he gets called for costly penalties, and he's massively overpaid, but he's still a solid starter for us. I would cut Amobi far before I would cut Antonio. Now, if he's deemed completely worthless in a 3-4, then I'd be willing to revisit that notion.

    Agreed.

Smith is the lineman most likely to do well in a switch to the 3-4 as an end. Okoye is a joke now in a 4-3 and would be punted immediately if you go 3-4. Mario you try and see if it might work (unlikely) or trade him now for a pick or two.

SalaryCap101 Cable's departure due 2 a contract may not be biggest #Raiders departure due 2 a contract. Asomugha's deal likely makes Nnamdi a FA in '11.

IF Nnamdi becomes a FAgent and Uncle Bob REALLY wants to makeup for the crap that 2010 turned out to be, then here is your answer. Makes the defense significantly better RIGHT AWAY.

Laugh now...but I think Okoye can excel in a 3-4

I heard Babin interviewed on 610 the other night and he was very candid when speaking of Kubiak. Kubes first year, Babin said he was working hard and asked GK what he needed to do. Kubiak responded with "you can't do anything, I have my guys." babin said he asked him two more times and again Kubiak responded with "I don't care what you do, I have my guys."

Now, I'm not a Babin fan by any stretch, and we all know he was Mr. Underachiever while a Texan, but what does that say about Kubiak. Pass rush has always been an issue, you have a player at least seemingly trying to do the right thing and Kubes basically said F-off.

As far as I know, Champ Bailey is asking to be moved to safety for whatever team he signs with. He thinks it will get him a couple of extra years. That's not a reason to not sign him, because I'm pretty sure he could move to the position tomorrow and play better FS than Eugene Wilson, but it doesn't fix our CB disaster.

Time to loot the Raiders corpse. Davis is on his way to his annual offseason destruction of his team, some of their best guys will want out. Like maybe one of the best corners in the game?

Turns out we suck at safety as well!

Sign Champ for Safety and Ike Taylor for CB.
