Well...with Garrard gone and Manning a huge question mark, that means they will potentially play McCown/Gabbert, Collins/Painter and Hasselbeck/Locker each scenario with average to below average teams around those guys. Also none of those defenses are good, average at best. An argument could be made we have the best QB, RB, TE, OL and overall defense in the AFC South. Know lets say that is 5-1, worst case, that would mean 5-5 the rest of the way. We play the Browns, Panthers and Raiders at home, Texans should be heavy favorites in all of those. That leaves seven games against @ Dolphins, Steelers, Saints, @Ravens, @Bucs, Falcons and @Bengals...I see three wins but even one and that gets them to 9-7 and probably good enough to the win the division.
well this same thing, can say about the Lions, they have made right moves and the preseason was encouraging but they have prove nothing, and they dont know if Jahvid Best and Stafford can stay healthy. But everybody says they are going to the playoffs, or be very close, with a record over .500 so the texans showed progress now.
