    610 was reporting saying the gumby already had the rockets this morning log in a 2 hr practice. these boys are gonna be tired.

    IMO, no one is going to play enough minutes to get tired. I'm surfin' between the Cavs @ Pistons and the Magic @ Mavs and there are some seriously odd combinations on the floor. Be prepared to see some of Pete Cornell and Mike Wilks tonight. :D

    I can't wait to see JVG's Rockets debut. Though I don't know what
    kind of offense we will have, one thing that I am sure of, there will be no dribbling exhibition from our guards.

    We're ready to see some hardcore defense from our boys in red and silver!!!

    The offense shouldn't be totally different from what they were really trying to do last year, but never did...Which is to stop dribbling and pass...pass..pass..de..ball because isolation really sucks.

    I wonder what kind of combinations of players we are going to see on the floor tonight. Since the preseason means squat, I think we are going to see a lot of the no bodies tonight.

    Nobodies or not, seeing at least a glimpse of JVG is going to be doing this season is enough to get me to watch... not to mention I've been in basketball withdrawal :cool:

    I CAN'T WAIT! There's nothing that drives me crazy more than a Rockets offseason. I've been counting down the days (literally), and now the minutes. Since Yao probably won't be playing, the thing I'm most excited to see is our defense and JVG barkin' out orders.

    I hate posting in here twice (plus I'm jealous of you H-Town folks who are getting a glimpse of the new team), but Pistons coach Larry Brown is close to JVG in intensity and Brown is holding his starters' minutes to the point where the Cavs are hammering the Pistons in Detroit. (And no, LeBron is not going crazy on them).

    IMO, just be prepared to see a lot of the 2nd and 3rd teamers and you won't be too disappointed.

    And it all begins. I don't care if it's just the 1st preseason game. I'm ready for the Rockets to get back on the court and show that they're a better team than what their record showed last year. The 3 spot will be particularly interesting with all the new players (JJ, AG, EP, & BN) all competing for time. Let's get it on.
