    Cornell is looking like a better option than Ameech. I like his hustle and his attitude. He got slapped hard on the wrist making a pass and didn't say a word about it.

    I'm definitely liking this Peter Cornell guy... two good buckets, a couple of rebounds and a block (plus another block that was a foul). Boki is a rock-solid 0-4, Moochie has 6 TOs. But I think we have a good center position if we get rid of Amaechi and keep Cornell. Cato is looking damned impressive.

    On a totally unrelated note, is anyone else disgusted with McDonald's new ad campaign? Can't say I'm lovin' it.

    carnell = the next mad dog (madsen)?

    boki has look terrible, just like every other game (last yrs preseason, summer league) i really hope he can turn it around, he just looks timid out there and couldnt hit a shot to save his life

    this is a preseason game...i am enjoying it.

    Our big men look great.

    PETER CORNELL! SIGN HIM! He's like Cato but white! And he's not as violent either..but anyways...he's lookin good! Sign him!

    Our offense is very good for big men. It's simple...big men just do their stuff...and they are doing it! We got Yao, Griffin, Taylor, Cato, Cornell, and Amaechi. They all are capable of doing their jobs on offense and defense.

    Now our guards...Steve is playing fine. He is doing great...a couple of turnovers...first preseason game! But MY GOD. Moochie sucks horribly. Mobley is uneffective unless he has the ball...he needs it to score.

    We have a good frontcourt. Our backcourt needs improvement. But once Yao starts playing...I think our backcourt will complement the frontcourt very nicely! Our team is lookin wonderful!

    Fantastic!

    Uniforms are lovely!

    Just get MOOCHIE OFF THE F!@#$N COURT!

    Cornell looks good. He is definately a NBA player, if not here, then somewhere.

    Also, Griffin gets props for his aggresive play.

    well nothing too impressive so far but what can we really expect for the first pre-season game.

    eddie has looked damn good as has cato. steve and cat haven't really looked for their shot all night.

    i think it will be a few games before we really get the idea of how this team will play particularly when yao gets in there. i wonder if piatowski is nursing an injury or something cause he has yet to play.

    I think what we are seeing is the rocket players feeling like they are under-the-gun and not running the plays with any feeling of the game. Also you can clearly see that this offense is centered around Yao. The portland guards are playing extra aggresive because they have no one to worry about in the post. As soon as they get comfortable they'll be ok.
