Poll: Do Houstonians like money more than politics?

Houston is dominated by oil first and foremost, then the healthcare industry.

Most of the city votes blue, especially in the presidential elections.

I've lived in Houston for a long long time, worked in O&G, and I have no ill will against the industry because I worked in it.

But the people of Houston who are clearly for the DNC, who clearly hate O&G companies, who depend on them for paychecks, -- where is your integrity? Why do Houstonians continue to support an industry in a half-assed manner like this at work, but then vote to kill your own job during elections?

Is it because:
1. You don't have a choice, need a job, but hate everything about the world that runs on oil
2. You are socially adapting to the culture, but secretly are fine with O&G companies that clearly do not help pollution problems
3. You're a moderate, stuck in both worlds, and voting for DNC for the other social programs
4. Republican pigs piss me off
5. Who says I support the DNC?

I'm not putting Trump on that menu for obvious reasons -- Houston votes blue in pretty much every election cycle, and that has happened for quite a long time before Trump.

As a moderate myself, you're part of the political spectrum that has me constantly confused.

I really would like to hear how you came to this conclusion that DNC 1. doesn't hate guns 2. doesn't hate O&G.

Sandy Hook outrage by the left (DNC) and the climate change blaming by the DNC for all the forrest fires, I think the message is crystal clear where the DNC stands on those topics.

The DNC outrage was not at the kids dying. The whole world was outraged at the kids dying, not just the DNC.

The entire world doesn't revolve around DNC, literally everyone in the country/world mourned the kids. A lot of shootings followed afterwards as well, and again, everyone mourned the losses.

If sympathy was the indicator that made the difference between DNC vs RNC for you, you've been completely brainwashed.

When I say the "outrage by the DNC", it was the outrage against the NRA and the RNC members who support them, the lobbyists, etc.
