  I read this article in its entirety on "The Atlantic”…Ta'Neshi Coates is a mesmerizing writer. And his general sentiment is the one that most black people have in this country. It's why white people can casually dismiss "white supremacy" while agreeing with the advantages it has brought them in our society.   I wanted to personally thank you for your response. You're right- you can never say never- but sometimes things like these wake you up and you realize you have to go a different direction for a while. I am truly grateful for all your posts and insights- they have helped me improve my ability to post coherently (I'm a bit scatterbrained on the D&D).
