    1. Silas
    2. Atkinson

Those are my two top choices. They ran similar offenses and were successful, Silas especially.
We're still trying to win. We still have 2 HOFs in their prime.
Let's reload and get back to work.

Silas might be the right guy for the job. I'd be ecstatic with either of those guys.

I haven't been able to find a lot about him because he doesn't have the resume of the other big candidates. He's never been a HC at any level so it's hard to find him speaking a lot but I came across this.

He talks about his experience at Brown and how he chose it over Columbia because he wanted to be out of his father's shadow who was coaching The Knicks at the time. He's an incredibly insightful guy and I'd be really excited with him.

As long as they hire a HC not named Silas or Cassell we'll be alright lol

Nooooo! That dude sounds like the second coming of MDmA with less offense. That force the ball into the basket to open up other areas on the court doesn't work in the playoffs. Gotta take what the defense gives you. That's the coach I want: Mr. I'll try anything in a series to win.

Easily the most creative out of every candidate. He’s Nick Nurse. My clear choice #1 personally.

Something tells me they are going to pick Atkinson regardless of who they interview.

They might be just going through the motions for fans, and pick someone they like but isn't the best like McHale was.

Say what you want about Les, his instincts were successful many times. MDA was at least better than McHale.

Agreed. Tweaking any roster to MDA’s desires is not a winning move.

Seriously this guy rules. I’m completely sold and hope Morey gets his guy. He’s grinded his butt off and will continue to outwork every other coach. He gives me the vibe of the defense attorney who essentially lives out of his car to be closer to the courthouse.

We need a young unknown with ideas and a positive attitude. I’ll take Vanderpool or Vince Carter. Someone without enough data to be mined thru to where they’re predictable.

Maybe a little too unpredictable for me.

I've seen Vince Carter mentioned once or twice. Why Vince? Unless we're talking about a different Vince Carter, the guy retired from the game not long ago.

I just think he’s smart, made his game effective after losing his grade A plus plus athletic ability, he’s been everywhere and seen lots of coaching. Lastly I think he’d instantly command respect from every player in the league and from the NBA as an organization for his contributions to the league with one instance of controversy.

Risk/reward is worth it for a chip. A coach going against Morey’s philosophy during the playoffs is paramount. His philosophy is exploited by teams late in the playoffs. I go defensive minded first time head coach with several offensive philosophies.
