Is he really not drilling ground balls (and I mean drilling, ripped) into the shift? I swear that was a common occurance early in his career.
PSA to media covering the Rockets: Don't say Tucker was ejected without putting the initials P.J. before them.
He still is drilling grounders into the shift. Maybe slightly less. He's just moved them over a couple feet to get hits along with elevating more batted balls as well.
Correa is a spectacular defender. Tucker I feel like isn't that good at playing the nuances of the Crawford Boxes, yet another exhibit as to why I think he belongs at RF, and hope he moves over there next year.
Today, Pressly dropped his ERA from 5.19 to 4.22. Two efficient, lockdown saves. Safe to say he's back to normal, this will also go a long way in boosting his confidence, and I think the early-season struggles are behind him. I'm so so effing glad we got Ryan Pressly.
What's better than 2 Astros wins and a Rockets playoff win? 2 Astros wins against the division leader and a Rockets playoff win.
Can we just take a minute and give Ryan Pressly some praise? Dude was locked in both of the save opportunities. We need him to be that lockdown closer
Zack Greinke had a crick in his neck when he woke up this morning. Dusty Baker said he wasn't sure whether he'd pitch today. Cy Sneed was out there warming before the game in case. "He gave us all he had," Baker said of Greinke. Baker doesn't seem concerned long term.
