Yea... Les and his big mouth again. He's always "willing to take risks" as long as it doesn't go over the tax and it doesn't come out of his pocket. I'll believe it when i see it.

Brian Cook? But the big risk will be seeing if Harden and Dwight are willing to play second fiddle and let Cook be the franchise player.

Alexander forgot to mention that when they got Tmac, Barkley and Pippen they didn't win a ring LOL.

The problem with "big risks" is that those have a low chance of succeeding...otherwise they wouldn't be a big risk. For every Bogut trade that succeeds you have 100 Rondo or Kevin Love trades that fail, if the Rockets didn't have a core then yeah, take those risks because you have nothign to lose (hence we got "little Paul Pierce" Morris over "Career Role Player" Kawhi Leonard), but in this case if you already have Dwight, Harden, Dmo, Capela etc. why mess that up for a low chance of success? If we had DMo and Bev this would've been a 7 game series at the minimum for the Rox, so IMHO even if DM just sat on his ass the internal growth from players and coaching staff (Mchale just has 3 years of coaching exp, he will improve) is enough to make the team better next year. So really rather than blowing it up just do some tweaking to upgrade the roster, draft the BPA and then we're ready to roll.

Oh God that man is a walking Turnover. Good thing he has Morey but he does not know how to help him.

It is possible that he is impeding him. Therefore Morey's mistakes.... We'll see.

No he's not. The guy spends money and doesn't impede management - what more do you want?

Breh isn't lying. He took a big risk by forcing mauri to sign Linsanitary.

I think he's on the level saying he's willing to take a "big risk." I just hope he doesn't push Morey in a direction he doesn't want to go, certainly a possibility.

He is one of the les(s) weathy owners in this league.... there is no rating him

Taking risks is for him to say he is spending a lot of his money

A lot of owners do not have that kind of money problem or at least do not try to make profit at all cost

Let just say it is really hard for him to keep his hobby, spend enough to contend for a championship every year

On the contrast, staying mediocre or above average in the playoffs won't cost him that much, he can still have his lifestyle

It is a big risk if you are relying on Jones to grow.

The problem with not taking "big risks" is that there is no chance of succeeding.

Surely that's a misquote. Surely what he really said was, "Terrence Jones will go."

Nice job of ignoring all the draft picks Les paid for out of pocket. Not to mention the massive arena and lockerroom upgrades.
