Totally agree with your post! A low risk/high reward trade that seems to be panning out! Spoiler LOL... Haters can't even suck correctly... ....... ....... .......
McHale should run PG Survivor every game... Split the first half between PBev/Prig/JT.... whoever sucks worst, rides the pine for the second half... split the 3rd between the remaining two.... winner is on the floor for the 4th....
Bev is getting beat every time he presses beyond the three point line. He needs to just stay in front of his man not all up on him EVERY TIME. He could take a thing or two from Prigioni's defensive positioning.
He has already shown he can pass the ball correctly and efficiently, if he can start hitting open shots, our spacing will improve. I don't expect much from him against the elite PG's, but if he can put up a good show in short periods, that will be enough for me.
Unrelated but up to this day, this meme fills me with joy  I think that even though Prigioni isn't the second playmaker we were playing for, he's a very savvy and unselfish player who does a great job of filling the role off the bench. We needed a facilitator to fill in while Harden rested and he does a satisfactory job at that role. This will play dividends later in the season. Great low risk high reward pickup by DM the GM.
When Dwight was in the broadcast with Bull and Bill this week, they specifically pressed him on that point. They said he and Harden were so effective at the pick and roll, they need to commit to it more often. He said something like 'yeah, it was really effective in the playoffs last year, and we need to do more of it.' Meh answer.. but I liked that they mentioned it straight up.
was wondering if anyone else caught that/mentioned that conversation ! Bill and Bull trying to do us all a solid. "You and James are SO dominant in the pick and roll..." Butter him up to the idea fellas. "All the great Big Men set effective screens and roll like a demon to the paint, Dwight..."
he plays smart, just needs time to find his stroke. Glad he hasn't bought into our chucker philosophy yet, probably why he tends to be patient and makes the right pass.
He hesitates 2 much. Its as if he's not sure its ok to shoot so 3's everytime he's open. I guess he's still adjusting to the Rockets 10000 3's per game. He doesnt realize that this is real yet.
