If we can get that from him here, we would set. That is all we need. He's a very good player in all the other aspects of being a PG, but we just can't have the second coming of Ricky Rubio when it comes to shooting.
For the record, I've been defending Pablo and highlighting his strengths / why he fills a need on this team since the evening of the trade deadline. I think you oversell him, yes. I think you undersell Bev, yes -- particularly his improved performance in the stretch of games before he went down this last time. Nonetheless, I think Pablo was a sneaky good pickup who makes a lot of sense w/ this roster. All of that said -- celebrating an injury and a loss of depth at any position headed into the postseason remains ridiculous to me -- and solid performances from Pablo will not sway that opinion, so you can miss me with your follow-up reminders. A playoff PG rotation of Bev/Jet/Pablo (poooossibly Nick, likely not) that would've allowed for limiting all of their minutes -- Bev b/c he is better in limited minutes, frankly, and Pablo/Jet because BASICALLY FORTY -- would have been a nice mix. To me.
