Lin. If Flynn weren't a ballhog I'd keep Flynn. Jesus... there is no justification for dribbling the ball 18 out of 24 seconds of a possession.
Lin by a mile. He is Lowry before Lowry became Lowry. Draws a lot of fouls, can get to the hoop, has good court vision, plays great defense. The only thing he lacks is a good jumper, otherwise he's a terrific PG to have on your team.
Lin is a decent shooter... he just hasn't had any chances to showcase it... you know with Flynn driving the ball and bricking layups all day long. Flynn = PG version of Trevor Ariza.
What has Flynn done? Brick layups, botch fast court opportunities, and turn the ball over. What has Lin done? Make layups, play efficiently, PASS THE BALL.
Flynn has more athleticism and probably more talent but Lin plays smart and has deceptive athleticism. My vote is for Lin...and its not just cuz of this game.
Nothing wrong with being desperate to make the team, that only means he's going to be going all out every time he has the ball. And as far as Lin goes, I'd like to see him get more time and see what he can do with the 2nd unit. It's too bad that there aren't anymore preseason games.
Flynn is horrible, I hope McHale is just showcasing him. Was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Jeremy Lin tonight
Tell us why Flynn over Lin. Most people that posted gave a reason why. You give the basketball reason why you would pick Flynn over Lin.
I've been saying for a while, I guess it just took some of you guys to watch Lin play more to see what I've seen all along. Lin is an outside shot and team-running-skills away from being a bigger, less polished Kyle Lowry.
