Flynn is trying. They ARE showcasing him giving him a shot He's just getting outplayed by Dragic and Lin. Flynn is looking more like Will Conroy than a 1st round pick
You could make a nice rap cause Lin and Flynn rythm. But Lin and Adrien are impressive. Release Flynn or trade him in a package
They are probably reinforcing the stereotype (which in most cases is true) that the black guy is more athletic and therefore much better than the asian guy.
Honestly with races out of this... Lin is just way better for this Rockets squad.. Flynn prob has better upside but we just don't need another ballhog. I seen enough last year with Jermaine Taylor.
If it's on preseason merit alone, Lin and Adrien deserve a roster spot more than Flynn and Smith. I'll give a lucky point to GlenRice: Flynn had the best +/- tonight.
For crying out loud... can we keep that crap out of here and talk basketball? Lin came in and convinced me that he has the size, defense, and handles to give us a different look from the one. And he can score around the basket. Want to see more of him, so I guess that means he needs to make the team. ;-)-
Adrien definitely deserves a spot. He's a bully in that post... Smith is soft. Now, this is why I don't like +/- stats... individual skill and effectiveness is not measured there. Because most of the time, it was the other players doing all the work. Flynn did nothing.
Maybe it was a bad match-up for Flynn going against the equally quick T.J. Ford, too. He just couldn't make a shot though.

Flynn looked very impressive in the fast break tonight. But Lin has a solid drive and he can actually finish, and he played D. There is no way we can keep all 4 PGs. It'll be a hard cut.
In all seriousness; Lin played better, smarter, and harder. Basketball-wise? Lin did much more than Flynn did.
