Don't make that much difference. Ya'll sit behind your keyboards and spew contempt and derision at people you disagree with and it doesn't mean ****. The only thing that will conquer all this freaking crazy ass bull**** is love....something this world is short of these days. We all need to step away from the keyboards and go out and love our brothers and sisters despite our differences. Because if we don't, it won't get any better.
You want to know what's really messed up? People run out and buy more guns after shootings like these. Mass shootings are literally good business for the gun industry. They make more money when something like this happens. It wouldn't surprise me if some dip**** somewhere gets excited every time there's a mass murder because he knows he's going to see an increase in sales the next day. That's messed up.
I like the pure love part of your message, and there's great truth in that, resonating with most reasonable spiritual traditions on earth, but the p*rn part of it (probably unintentionally) resonates with the pathetic parts of the internet blaming women for the shootings, since they don't sleep around enough. That take is hugely messed up, infantile... a dead end. Love is about loving others, not sitting behind a keyboard complaining about not being loved. Not accusing you of that, but some of what's emerging from the cellars of the web is pretty disturbing. We totally agree on stepping away from keyboards, which I will do forthwith. Cheers.
The p*rn part is not blaming anyone for anything. It was an attempt at humor with the point being that if this guy had the love of a good woman that he probably would not have lashed out. I can't speculate on why he didn't have that. Exactly. Our society becomes more isolated and insulated from emotion every day. Humans are social creatures, without that we can lose part of our humanity and become ruthless, cold and capable of pretty much anything.
