I'm sure that means something, but I'm not smart enough to figure it out. :)

Good. If these idiots managed to carry out their acts, and IS got a huge boner from extending their influence into a first world nation, I'd imagine there'd be a ramp up of IS violence in the middle east.

As an aside, for people concerned about Muslim communities tacitly approving such acts (from the above link):

British Muslims plead for hostage under threat

LONDON (AP) — British Muslim leaders made a plea Thursday for the safety of a British hostage threatened with beheading by Islamic State extremists in Syria.

Alan Henning's life was threatened in a video released Saturday that showed him in the hands of the extremists who beheaded British captive David Haines and two American journalists. The group says in the video that Henning will be next if Britain doesn't end its support for U.S. military strikes.

The Muslim leaders said in a letter published in the Independent newspaper that Henning is a humanitarian aid worker who went to Syria to help victims of the civil war. The religious leaders and community organizers ask the Islamic State group to "show him some mercy."

They say that under Islamic rules, anyone doing humanitarian work "should be commended and held in the highest esteem" and there is no justification in the Quran for the "despicable" threat against Henning. The letter adds that Henning should be released immediately.

It is signed by the leader of the Muslim Council of Britain, the chief imams of many major mosques and more than 100 Muslim activists.

The 47-year-old Henning, a former taxi driver from the Manchester area of northwestern England, was taken captive in December shortly after joining an aid convoy and crossing the border from Turkey into Syria.

British Muslims familiar with Henning's volunteer work have also made online pleas for his release, emphasizing that he did not go to Syria for political reasons but to help victims.

The Islamic State militants beheaded Haines despite his British family's plea for them to make contact. The video announcing his death was made public within a day of the family's appeal.

It's good that they do that. Props to them. Unfortunately, it will not help.

This is a very positive start. They have to keep it up, but it's a step in the right direction.

Muslim protest in Germany against jihadists

Two thousand mosques in Germany have been urged by Muslim leaders to use their Friday rituals to protest against injustice and hate. Their campaign aims to counter shock-image beheadings by terrorists in Syria and Iraq.

The chairman of the Central Council of Muslims in Germany Aiman Mazyek (pictured) said on Friday that Germany's estimated 4.5 million Muslims should not stay silent when persons misused the Islamic faith to enact crimes.
The day-long campaign was welcomed by the President of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, Dieter Graumann, who said "it is good that Muslim associations are putting up a fight against the terrorism of fanatical Islamists."
Mazyek described Islamic State (IS) rebels shown recently in videoed beheadings of American and British hostages as "in truth terrorists and murderers."
They had dragged Islam "through the mud," Mazyek said, adding that the perpetrators' actions exposed other followers of Islam to hate and suffering through backlash.
"We want to make it clear that the majority of Muslims here in this country and worldwide think and act differently," Mazyek added."Islam is a peaceful religion!"
Graumann said he would visit a mosque in Frankfurt, adding that his Central Council of Jews had always stood by the side of the Muslim community when it was subjected to attack by detractors.
    Radicalization on the rise
German Federal Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere, speaking at a "day of action" rally at a mosque near Hanover, warned that only together with the Muslim community could Germany detect the danger of young people becoming radicalized.
"We must exchange information on the travel movements of jihadists. That is complicated. The intelligence services must also work closely together," de Maiziere said.
He said closer cooperation was needed between Germany and Turkey to prevent the transit of mostly young men intending to become IS recruits.
"Muslims have demonstrated that hatred and violence can never be legitimized in the name of Islam,"
Germany's Muslim "day of action" included nine large rallies. Aside from Hanover, locations include Stuttgart, Berlin and Mölln, the scene of a fatal attack on resident Turks by neo-Nazis in 1992.
    IS banned in Germany
Last week, Germany banned all support from German territory for the IS rebels in Syria and Iraq and any displays of its insignia.
Salafism, a conservative interpreation of the Koran, has drawn followers among some youths of Turkish and Arabic origin in several German cities.
Earlier this month, Berlin decided to sent arms to Kurds in northern Iraq in support of their fight against IS rebels who in recent months have seized swathes of territory.

Girl, 8, calls on Islamic youth to back jihad

"AS Julia Gillard struggled to explain how Muslim children could be used to incite violence, eight-year-old Ruqaya yesterday fronted a congress of Islamic fundamendalists in Sydney to espouse her love for jihad. Addressing a 600-strong crowd at the Australian chapter of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Bankstown in the city's west, the young girl urged all Muslim youth to fight for the restoration of the Islamic caliphate, a single global government for all Muslims established under strict sharia law."

they live in an advance first world country, which provide them everything thay didn't have in their old countries, and they wish to destroy it.

I thought that jihad is against oppressers, like some of you suggested regarding Israel and gaza.

what did the western world who accepted them in, ever did to them that they want a jihad against it?

that a great education for peace, for the next genaration.

There's plenty to critique in her speech and about Hizb ut-Tahrir, but your comments show that you didn't read past the title.

You should probably read the second paragraph of your own article ... or even watch the video.

luckily, they're doing to distance their own names and communities from the actions of terrorists that have hijacked their faith, and not for the benefit of arm-chair quarterbacks on the internet. whether you and I think it's "enough" or not is irrelevant, because it doesn't change the fact that the actions of IS are being condemned by muslims, as well as the rest of the world.

It's exactly as I said. It's a step in the right direction. It's not enough. A lot more Muslims were out on the streets when the Muhammad cartoons came out.

What exactly is it that you are unsuccessfully trying to say?

Why is it so important to you to "defend" Islam? Why is it so obvious that you react angrily at any criticism of your ideology?

Also, it's not my ideology. :p

While I understand why you'd like to paint me as an "angry Muslim," just like the rest of your unsubstantiated accusations, it's simply not true.

Taqiyya (denying faith when in fear or at risk of significant persecution), applies to Muslims. Once again, that's not my faith. For the record, taqiyya doesn't exist if religious persecution doesn't exist. Are you saying you've created cause for taqiyya?

    Taqiyah, is a hat:

The problem with "religous persecution" is how a religous fundamentalist defines "persecution". Just like the Chiristian Right in the US, anything that offends them is considered persecution.
