[Feigen] Chuck Hayes Injures Ankle In Practice; Out 2-4 weeks http://twitter.com/Jonathan_Feigen/status/20560314688864256 Patrick Patterson time? Looks like Hayes will miss 2-4 weeks.. http://twitter.com/RocketsJCF/status/20616458308427777
Hope it's not serious, Jordan Hill will get his PT increased, could see PP out there if Hayes is out for quite some time. What's up with all of these ankle injuries this year for the Rockets..
Wheelchair? Damn ankle injuries. Jordan Hill gets his opportunity to start. Hope he takes advantage now.
First this is bad news for the Rockets and Hayes. He is the backbone and example of heart on this team. If he is seriously injured I pray for his speedy recovery. That said, I would never wish anything bad on any Rocket Player. ANd I will probably get flamed for this but injuries happen and opportunities open up for other players because of them. This is a major opportunity for Patrick Patterson and to a lesser extent Hill. Even williams will have afew more minutes at the 4 because of it. I have said before that I thought this team would be better if Patterson could take the role of Landry and be our 4th quarter finisher. He will eventually be a much better defender than Scola or even Hill. SO while I hope Hayes' injury is nothing, if we had to lose 1 player on the roster temporarily for future development of our young guys than this might be the best situation.
NOT chuck the guy is a beast ugh hopefully its not serious and the wheelchair was more precautionary than anything else just not to put any unnecessary stress on the ankle right after it got hurt
can we bring in the PHX or LAKERS training staff?? Their players never seem to get hurt.. (aside from Bynum)
Chuck can steal defend 1 on 1 watch video NBA Centers wouldnt have a chance <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/VouLjuZhe_0?fs=1&hl=en_GB"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/VouLjuZhe_0?fs=1&hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
We're talking about a dude who pops his dislocated shoulder back into socket in the middle of games like he is Martin Riggs. He will heal from whatever this is by next week if not by the time I hit submit on this post.
Chuck is my favorite player on the Rockets. A true success story in the NBA. If someone were to get hurt, I'd rather it be Bud or Lee so Terrance can get some pt.
All our centers (or players who play center) have gotten hurt this year. What the hell basketball gods!
