He's a better version of kevin Martin.

Of course, he's not a good scorer. How can a guys who averages only 22.8 points per game be a good scorer? Silly me!

Did I mentioned that he has a teammate who takes about 17 shots a game? Klay Thompson definitely is not a good scorer.

I don't get how he is compared to Kevin Martin. Martin can't play a lick of defense. And Martin's offense relies a lot on getting fouled (6.0 FTA per game). Thompson is a good defender and never average more than 4 FTA per game. The two guys are very different types of player.

Eh. I'd say he is a good scorer just not an elite one.

Per minute he gets up slightly more shots than Harden. Curry isn't holding him back from getting the shots he needs to score.

He doesn't get to the line like an elite scorer, neither does Curry. Harden makes more FTs than the 2 combined. This is really the only thing holding him back from being an elite scorer.

For now he's a good scorer because he is an elite shooter.

This Warriors team reminds me of the 05-06 Pistons team (the Flip led ones with like 64 wins)

Anything can happen to the Warriors

Well he's not KD, Harden or Melo not even close, so if you wanna label him as a good scorer ok, to me he's ok. Scorer can score at will and variety of ways. If his jump shot ain't falling, his offensive game is basically mute, unlike Harden who can still score 25+ on 5-6 FGM.

Warriors are just as much a deep shooting team as the Rockets. Only difference is that every single one of their shooters is on fire right now. All the stars are aligning and, you know what? They're aligning at the wrong time. Congrats, Golden State, you won January. We'll see what happens come May.

So, only Durant, Harden, and Melo are good scorers by your standard? If being top 10 in scoring is only "ok" then, yeah, ok.

I kind of agree with this. I hear Kerr in interviews now and he's nervous. He knows it's too early to peak like this.

Nice season and amazing night from Klay but your team is going to the lottery if he is your first option on offense.

delusional. mcgrady played like a beast those two series. wanna check his stats for those? harden couldn't even get a superior team to the ones mcgrady had past the first round so far. yea the thunder were good but what about the blazers? both the mavs and jazz teams in 05 and 07 were better than the blazers.

so far harden has shown us nothing in the playoffs

Harden's bad shooting and Mcgrady's beasting are about the same in terms of efficiency it seems.

Saying he was in video game mode is an understatement. Defense or not... this is... just wow.

    I love this game.

He's ok because he can just basically score by shooting, I'll take Irving over him as a scorer because he can score in more ways than him, even tho he's averaging less points.

If you look at scorer only by points than ok he's good.
