Ordered the 6s but had to do it through the Apple Store app on iPhone. Couldn't get to work on Apple.com

Since Verizon isn't doing contracts anymore, does that mean I could upgrade now? I'm not exactly sure how Edge works.

Usually there's an ipad / mac event in october..but I don't think it's happening this year because they combined the ipad announcement with the iphone one.

Also Intel's skylake processors won't ship till 2016..so my bet is on a Spring event like this year.

    What's Next

Quad-core Broadwell processors appropriate for the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro were announced by Intel in June, meaning Apple could go with a fairly short update cycle and release new models perhaps around its usual October iPad and Mac event. Alternatively, Apple could wait a bit longer and jump directly to Skylake chips, bypassing Broadwell chips in the machines entirely. Skylake processors appropriate for both the 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pro will launch in 2016, but details on chips for the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro are not yet available.

My point is that no phone is secure. Phones are way less secure than desktops.

3D Touch is the real deal.

and they somehow managed to make the touchid sensor even faster.

Also, from shopping around today, it looks like the 6+ was lower stocked again or really popular. 64GB very hard to find.

Anyone picked up an Apple TV yet? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

The AppleTV that I currently have still works just fine. I really don't have any motivation to move on to the new one until there is a live TV streaming option.

That said, I'll probably buy it by the end of the year. I have a few bonus reward gift cards to the Apple Store from a MacBook Pro purchase earlier this year.
