I don't see a problem giving it a go in this league AT THE LEAGUE MINIMUM. That's a totally fine, low risk move for any GM to make. I wouldn't mind Morey dong this at all, and wouldn't think any other GM is stupid for giving it a go.

why he is hated my CF is because he got a 16th pick contract (which is a hell of a lot better than the league minimum) and blamed rockets management for not making things work out with his anxiety issues.

I don't like him because he reeks of douche-y-ness! On second thought, I hope the Spurs do pick him up!
I want to see Pops go medieval on him and treat him like a spoiled stepchild!...

This is the logic of the Nerd league. Every GM tries to outsmart the other, leaving no stones unturned...

Rumor is that the Spurs did not keep track of what White did to Houston or they seem to not care.

I just do not want to play 'What if Royce White had talent' game any longer, that guy is just a clown, freaking get ejected multiple times in the Dleague in the first halves....

How comical, delusional and crazy can one get thinking the Dleague is Auburn Hills, Malice at Rio Grande...... Can't stop laughing

The matchup problems that would have favored the Rockets had this fool worked hard and played to his potential.

I'd argue that it was a significantly greater risk when Morey gave him the contract vs. now.

    Multiple years guaranteed vs non-guaranteed
1st rd pick salary vs. minimum
Burden of holding onto him b/c he was a 1st rd pick vs. easy cut b/c no one will care
Younger, so he believes he can get what he wants vs. older and fighting for his NBA life, so he will settle

If he didn't already screw Morey over and we weren't in "win now" mode, giving him a shot would be a definite Moreyball move

    Don't call it a comeback
    I been here for years
Rockin my peers and puttin suckas in fear
Makin the tears rain down like a MON-soon
Listen to the bass go BOOM
    Explosion, overpowerin
    Over the competition, I'm towerin
Wreckin shop, when I drop these lyrics that'll make you call the cops
Don't you dare stare, you betta move
    Don't ever compare
Me to the rest that'll all get sliced and diced
    Competition's payin the price

    [Chorus:]

I'm gonna knock you out (HUUUH!!!)
Mama said knock you out (HUUUH!!!)
    [REPEAT 4X]

I hope when the Clips cut him he finally goes away. I doubt it though, bball is probably the only skill he has and if he can't play overseas, he may be a career d-leaguer.
