Sweet! We might get to see more "drive right then no look pass to the left" by Joyce.

Exactly right. I'm a psychologist and said this when the White crap was first going down and was attacked. White's best hope would be for the Rockets to set firm limits from the beginning and say that he needs to travel with the team or his contract would be voided. That whole thing with the bus was absurd and probably empowered White to keep making ridiculous demands.

My brother was on a plane with him a couple months ago. No joke.

Royce White cannot have a comeback, because he never did anything but what could be considered garbage time in the NBA. he wasn't that good. He always looked winded and out of shape. Maybe his talent warranted being taken so high in the draft. But as the old saying goes, you don't use it you lose it. White had squandered time, and there is no substitute for playing against elite competition.

When even Michael Jordan whom is regarded as the best or at least top 3 basketball player ever, worked harder than anyone on those Bulls teams. His work ethic was legendary.

On the other hand Royce White is delusional.....

Did Morey really draft a player that refuses to fly? I still have a hard time believing that actually happened.

He swore up and down it wouldnt be a problem in the predraft interviews and pointed out how he can he can fly on games in his college team. Hoiberg also vouched for him and Mchale got sold as well. Out of the three picks the Rox made I thought for sure he was gonna be big.

He has talent, so there's always going to be interest.

Highly doubt that a sociopath like Royce can succeed long term in the NBA, though.

I don't know if he is a sociopath (I doubt it)but there is so much talent in the league nowadays. And more and more coming in. There's not real reason for any team to waste time, roster spot, and money, babysitting Royce White.
He is not even a 7 feet center which is the only real position that has so high demand that would explain a second and third chance to headcases (see Whiteside).

I see "etc" but I don't see the Rockets. The dude has to either smokes too much weed, have a chemical imbalance or have been traumatized as a young child to act so immature and odd.

See what tough love gets you and a man being broke with all those baby mammas to support?

Royce is a narcisist - and needed to be told NO - and now he will fly...lol.

The Rockets tried to be nice and he took took took....what he needs is much more direct, take it or leave it, so he can grow up.

I don't think he has the talent to be an NBA player even if he tries. He is too limited physically. Too short, too slow, no skills, no motor. He can pass for a 6'8" dude but it's not like he is Magic Johnson. His only skill can't make up for all the flaws in his game.

I read somewhere that some teams were thinking of inviting him to Summer League but no teams were mentioned, of course.

So it could just be a way to stay relevant and keep his name out there.

He should ply his craft overseas to prove that he can do it and earn his way back.
