The most disappointed I've been as a Rockets fan.

100% agree. I see teams run PNR all the time, and do screens etc. but god this team is just street ball, and they just toss up 3 pointers even if it was contested. Last season had MUCH better ball movement. This year everyone is trying to be the hero....i think the expectations of the media and fans got to them.

Did anyone actually think we were winning that game after blowing a 2-0 lead and losing 3 out of 4?

Anyway, I was most disappointed in that 07 team, but this really comes close. I have never seen a team underachieve as much as this team.

this is the first time since that dallas series that i've felt this ****ty about our performance. The first half was good. We just couldn't score after halftime. And jesus christ james harden get your **** together man. That performance was absolutely pathetic. And for god sake can we get a better coaching decisions from McHale???? Seriously... keep letting LMA get the ball and go one on one with Asik/Howard/Jones/anybody. He kept ****ing scoring... Every. Damn. Time. 43 points! Right after he scores 46 on us. Well I was feeling really good about this season. Home court advantage in the west is a great accomplishment for a team that barely knows each other. But this playoff performance has to be the biggest let down since the refs ****ed us out of the playoffs against Dallas. I apologize for the profanity but I haven't been this upset and disappointed in my team in a very long time. If we get swept, which is a very real possibility, Mchale absolutely has to be fired, and our bench needs an overhaul. Dwight tried hard and I was impressed with his effort throughout the game. He was the only decent part of this horrendous game. James Harden... you need to wake up!! This is the NBA playoffs... quit screwing around

I didn't have much faith with McHale at the helm.

    Im disappointed, but not surprised.

Can't speak for others, but the reason I'm disappointed is they are playing scared, gutless basketball SO far below what they are capable of.

Losing always stings. Choking and quitting is another matter all together.

This is just a continuation of the bad games we had at the end of regular season. No one has any idea how to play the right way, not players, no coaches. We talked about mental weakness of Lin. How about mental weakness of harden? When he cannot make shot, he just gave up, no defense, no assist, no ****.

Aldridge has been godlike. However he can't stay this good forever and Harden can't stay this bad forever. Even though Aldridge had one of his best games of the year, and Harden one of his worst (with bad games also from Parsons, and Lin, and Garcia, and Asik and others) it still was a close game. I fully expect game 3 will be different.

I've been with the Rockets through thick and thin, but this is definitely the most frustrated I've ever been. I've backed Mchale for awhile but he is an awful coach.

Why the **** would you foul with 30 seconds left when you just made it a 1 possession game?

Then the Rockets staring at the ball as it goes to Lillard. Reminded me of that damn Utah series all over again.

Harden? Hi? Hello? Are you there? Didn't think so.

I'm incredibly pissed off at the officiating but these guys don't deserve to win.

I had to turn it off after that. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I learned my lesson years ago with Houston sports. The trick is to keep your expectations low. You can get your hopes up, but never, ever expect for anything great to happen.

I'm actually glad, because it was bad enough to where the entire next day would be ruined for me and I'd be depressed or stressed out. Now, I'm just like, meh.

You'd think I would have learned my lesson by now.

I feel surprisingly numb. A lifetime as a Houston fan prepares you for some adversity.

I was absolutely fuming after game one... tonight, we didn't make a case for ourselves.

At least the series isn't over... yet.

Remember when we were playing to "stay" in 4th place so that we could get that "ideal" match up to play Portland the team we would likely sweep or beat 4-1 ? Yeah that seems like it was months ago now... No way we win 4 of 6 with the current style of play and Harden disappearing oh yeah and a totally clueless (it often seems) coach.

Seriously. Again I've backed Mchale this entire time, but I can't get over some of the blatantly stupid decisions he's been making.

I'm disappointed we can't even run a set play off a timeout. It's ISO ISO ISO. Would it hurt to run a designed play to free up Harden or someone for a easy bucket?

What happened to all those people that genuinely thought the Rockets were title contenders? Where are they now?
